About London Marathon Foundation
The London Marathon Foundation (the Foundation) is the parent charity of London Marathon Events (LME).
Every year, LME’s surplus is passed as corporate Gift Aid to the Foundation. This, as well as other donations and interest, is used by the Foundation to fund projects that inspire activity in London, Essex and across the UK.
The Foundation's vision is to inspire activity; for all ages, abilities, backgrounds and communities.
We believe that participating in sport and physical activity has the power to change lives.
We’re one of the UK’s major funders of projects and initiatives that inspire children and adults across the UK to lead active and healthy lives.
